Deen, 23, told SunSport: “I saw they were making $30,000 a month, I was like s***. Let me get some of that.
“They’re doing fake pranks so I just picked up a phone, started recording with my friends and fighting on the streets, it went viral.

“I did have a few people threaten me, but I don’t fear s***. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.”
Deen is unbeaten in Misfits and returns in a rematch on Saturday against bitter rival Walid Sharks, who he knocked out in November.
But he is tempted by a switch to the professional game if the money is right having been supported by world champions.
Deen said: “S***, the influencer game is where the money is at.
“But if the pro game have some bread to throw, I know promoters have been asking me a lot of questions.
“A lot of them are interested so it’s going to be exciting to see. But if DAZN keep taking care of me, I’ll stick with DAZN and turn pro if there’s no one else to fight in the influencer scene, why not?

Ryan’s brother, Pat Casey, was also a BMX rider but tragically died in a motorbike accident in June 2023.

Ryan’s last match was against rapper and boxer Swarmz — the pair fought at the OVO Wembley Arena on the undercard of KSI’s clash with FaZe Temperrr in January 2023.
Swarmz won the fight in a first-round TKO after a referee stoppage, thanks to severe swelling around Ryan’s right eye.
Why has Ryan Taylor’s fight on the KSI vs Tommy Fury undercard been cancelled?
Ryan was hoping to take his revenge in a rematch, on the Tommy Fury vs KSI undercard on Saturday night in Manchester, after Swarmz beat him in early 2023.
But Misfit Boxing’s prime card has suffered a huge blow as according to Happy Punch Promotions, the Dubai-based BMX star has been arrested just days before the much-anticipated rematch.
Misfits have confirmed to SunSport that the match has been cancelled, but it is not yet known why Ryan has been arrested.
Misfit Boxing—co-owned by KSI—are now seeking a replacement for the fight.
Swarmz took to Twitter to criticise the YouTuber following the cancellation, saying: “ I exposed this man hes a wet wipe. Why only now you go and get arrested lool. I want you to prove you got arrested this sounds like the same excuses you used in our first fight. Your not ready for youtube boxing QUIT NOW… TIMEWASTER!!!!”
Fans and critics also had a lot to say about the last-minute cancellation and arrest.
One boxing fan said: “WE NEED AN ASAP REPLACEMENT IF THSST THE CASE.”

Another chimed in: “Man’s that petrified of Swarmz he went and got himself arrested so he didn’t have to fight.”

I was a chubby pro basketballer before body transformation made me a ripped pro boxer

NAPHTALI NEMBHARD has completed his transformation from chubby pro basketballer to ripped professional boxer. The 27-year-old Sheffield ace was a fleshy, hard-grafting court ace for the Sheffield Sharks and Derbyshire Arrows before fancying a sexy six-pack for a holiday.

As a kid on the basketball court he struggled to keep his weight downCredit: Not known, clear with picture desk
The southpaw knew – after a childhood combining his favourite sports – that dedicating himself to boxing was the only way to get a toned torso.
And in 2017 he went to the Bramall Lane home of his beloved Sheffield United to watch local hero Kell Brook bravely lose to Errol Spence Jr, he was hooked on swapping hoops for the hurt business.
On last Friday night in his hometown, he finally made his pro bow outpointing Vasif Mamedov, to complete his turnaround.
The Yorkshire hulk explained to SunSport: “I was always a chubby kid when I was young and when I got to university and started playing basketball more seriously, they told me to get in shape.

“I boxed a bit when I was younger and was always a fan.
“When I was in school my friends were all boxers but I was just fat and didn’t like getting hit.
“I only really started boxing training again as an adult when I wanted to get a six-pack for a holiday.
“I was going on holiday to America and I wanted to impress people, I did get that six-pack too, thanks to the boxing training.”

Nembhard wants to box like Sheffield ring legend Prince Naseem Hamed – one of the most brilliant showmen the sport has ever seen.
But his childhood friends are baffled as his basketball style was much more journeyman brawler than Harlem Globetrotter baller.
“I am small for a basketball player,” he said. “I am only 6ft 1in. It’s tall for a middleweight boxer but not for a basketball player.
“As a basketball player I was gritty, aggressive, hard-nosed and used to guard against the opposition’s best player, be a nuisance to him and push him around. I was a very defensive player.
“My friends who have seen me play basketball and box are confused because my styles in both sports are the polar opposite.
“I still have that grit when it comes to training but in the ring I like to be more silky, show more finesse. My favourite boxers were always flashy and showboaters so I try to emulate that.”
