But a brilliant preview of the BBC documentary revealed their talk was not friendly the whole way through.
As the chat progressed, things turned to Joshua’s bizarre post-fight antics after losing to Oleksandr Usyk.
Joshua famously threw the heavyweight belts out of the ring before launching into a rant on the microphone.
He said at the time: “If you knew my story you would understand the passion.

“I’m stealing this Usyk, I’m sorry, but it’s because of the passion we put into this.”
But Theroux clearly touched a nerve as he discussed the incident, with a preview video showing Joshua attempting to shut him down.

Theroux was unhappy with an answer from the ex-heavyweight world champion about the incident.
And Joshua was not having it either as he fought back in an awkward exchange.
Joshua said: “That was an ego and pride thing coming out. I brought this heavyweight division back – that was in me.
    “Right or wrong, probably wrong.”
Theroux interrupted: “Probably wrong, probably wrong I think. I don’t think anyone says it was the right thing to do.”
Joshua looked irritated as he replied: “You asked me a question and I’m answering it.”
A second preview clip continued the discussion about Usyk.
Theroux said: “You took the belts and dropped them over the side.”
Joshua answered: “It was like that these don’t even mean anything anyway.
“I’ve thrown them because that’s what I’ve felt like and grabbed the mic, I addressed the crowd.
“Could I have done it better? Of course I could have. I felt frustrated, annoyed.
“I knew I was out of the title race and then the questions started, ‘what is he like? Where is his head at?’

Fury vowed to ‘do some good before I die’ with the cash
The father of Tyson Fury agreed with KSI on a wager before the celebrity grudge match between Tommy and the YouTuber.
Tommy came out the winner last month with a narrow points victory, with a fuming KSI taking to Instagram after the bout to say he had been “robbed”.
The YouTube, music and crossover boxing star has since hired a lawyer to appeal his first-ever boxing loss.

John played an extremely active role in the promotion of the fight and was frequently in altercations with his son’s rival.

John also threw a bottle at KSI earlier in the build-up which prompted KSI to spit back at him.
While the fight between Tommy and KSI may be long gone, it seems that a feud between John and KSI still goes on. More

Deontay Wilder’s coach says ‘damaging’ trilogy changed Tyson Fury after lacklustre performance against Francis Ngannou

TYSON FURY has been told his “damaging” trilogy series with Deontay Wilder has “changed” him. The heavyweights first shared the ring in 2018, with Fury being dropped twice but still being deemed unfortunate to walk away with a draw.

They rematched two years later with Wilder this time tasting the canvas before being stopped in round seven.
The rivals arguably saved the best till last with their October 2021 trilogy, which Fury won after being dropped twice and scoring three knockdowns himself.
But after being floored by ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou and walking away with a controversial points win, Wilder’s coach Malik Scott insisted the trilogy has taken its toll.
Scott told FightHype: “Even Fury believes the Deontay Wilder fights changed him.

“People are highlighting the times he got knocked down, but what about the punches he was taking in the fight, taking good shots and coming back.

Fury, 35, now approaches the biggest fight of his career for the undisputed crown against Oleksandr Usyk, 36.
The historic first ever four-belt unification was set for December 23 but having been given the fight of his life against Ngannou, 37, it has been delayed till February.
And Scott believes the Gypsy King is on the decline as he said: “He’s 35 years young but to me Fury has put a lot of wear and tear on his body.
“Not just the Deontay fights, early on in his career he took damage in the first [Derek] Chisora fight, he was knocked down with [Steve] Cunningham.
