Tyson Fury tells Anthony Joshua he’s willing to ‘NEGOTIATE’ big Battle of Britain, but on one condition, as date emerges

TYSON FURY is willing to “negotiate” a blockbuster Battle of Britain with Anthony Joshua – but on one condition.Fight fans around the world have been waiting for the best part of a decade for the pair, 35 and 34 respectively, to share the ring.Anthony Joshua has put himself back on a collision course with Tyson Fury with four wins on the bounceCredit: GETTYAJ will be ringside on Saturday to watch Fury’s undisputed bout with Oleksandr UsykCredit: EPAThe Gypsy King is willing to ‘negotiate’ a fight with AJ – but only after his back-to-back bouts with UsykCredit: AFPThe duo were on course to have back-to-back fights in late 2021 and early 2022 before Deontay Wilder won his legal case for a trilogy fight with the Gypsy King. The fight seemed dead in the water after Joshua suffered back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, although the former unified champion’s recent resurgence has put it back on the table.Joshua will be ringside for Fury’s bid to become undisputed heavyweight champion against his conqueror on Saturday night. And Fury is willing to talk business with AJ, but only after he wins his consecutive clashes with Usyk.READ MORE IN BOXINGThe WBC heavyweight champion said: “There’s not much he can build because we have a two-fight deal, so if he builds what he wants to do he has to wait until it’s all over.”Then we can negotiate.”Purse splits and dates proved to be a stumbling block in the last round of negotiations for the biggest fight in the history of British boxing. But with Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh eager to make the bout, Fury doesn’t foresee there being any issues next time around. Most read in BoxingBEST FREE BET SIGN UP OFFERS FOR UK BOOKMAKERSHe continued: “Now the Saudis are involved and His Excellency is controlling everything, he can make these fights like that because money is not a problem.“And it’s always about money in these deals and why they don’t get made.Anthony Joshua hints mega clash with Tyson Fury will happen in September and says ‘it’s coming, most definitely’Inside Tyson Fury’s modest £550k houseTYSON FURY has millions in the bank – but he used to live in the most modest of houses.

Before upping sticks to a new £1.7million mansion in 2021, Fury, his wife Paris and their seven kids used to live in a modest house in Morecambe Bay.
The Fury clan resided in a five-bed and four-bed bathroom worth £550,000, according to Zoopla.
There’s nothing super swanky about the Furys’ former home, which is filled with homages to Tyson’s achievements inside the ring.
And despite having enough money in the bank to live in the grandest of houses, The Gypsy King was all too happy to call the simple house home.
Speaking on a three-part ITV documentary in 2020, “People say to me, ‘Why don’t you live in California or America?’ – why would I?
“Why would I abandon my own country for a bit of money and some fame?
“I love it. I would never leave Morecambe. It’s true beauty.
“If the weather was better, every house here would be a million quid.”

“All fights are easy to make in any weight division. Turki will make them.”The tentative plan is for Fury and Usyk to renew their rivalry on either October 12 or October 13.And should Fury come out of the contest unscathed, Alalshikh wants him to throw down with Joshua next March.Joshua hasn’t fought since his brutal second-round KO of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in March. But he’s on course for a Wembley war this September against the winner of the upcoming IBF heavyweight title fight between Filip Hrgovic and Daniel Dubois. He told talkSPORT: “Whenever they tell me there’s a date, you know I’ll be ready 100 per cent.”It’s gonna be in London, Wembley Stadium.READ MORE SUN STORIES”This is what I’m being told. Tyson Fury becomes UK’s highest paid boxer ever… and could still have TEN fights to come after Usyk

TYSON FURY is British boxing’s biggest-ever earner after raking in a £300million fortune. The incoming £80m payday for Saturday’s clash with Oleksandr Usyk means he tops rival Anthony Joshua.Tyson Fury has become the UK’s top-paid boxer in historyCredit: ReutersFury has gathered his riches thanks to a trilogy of battles with Deontay Wilder, an £80m five-fight deal with USA broadcaster ESPN, long-running partnership with TNT and last year’s win over Francis Ngannou in Riyadh. If the unbeaten Gypsy King becomes undisputed world heavyweight champ by adding Usyk’s WBA, IBF and WBO belts to his WBC strap, he will be  able to write his own cheques for the showdowns that follow.Saudi paymasters will offer Fury TEN more bank-busting paydays, starting with an expected rematch with Usyk and a double-header against Joshua.Promoter Frank Warren, who guided Fury back from 29st laughing stock to king of the sport’s stock exchange, says he will floor all before him.READ MORE ON BOXINGAsked if his 6ft 9in star attraction has now eclipsed his predecessors and rivals, Warren said: “Yeah. No question — by far. He’s made BIG money.“Think of all the records — highest-grossing heavyweight fight to take place in Las Vegas, which was him and Deontay Wilder.“Wembley Stadium against Dillian Whyte was the highest-grossing event they’ve ever had.“At Tottenham, he sold out 60,000 tickets for an open-air show in December against Derek Chisora — come on. But it will come around quickly, February.”No promoter fights his man’s corner like veteran campaigner Warren, 72, and this week is no different. For all the positive comments about the new muscles Fury has been flexing in Saudi, umbridge has been taken with the way the Mancunian giant’s regularly contradictory comments are not given more leeway.Fury, 35, suffers from bipolar disorder which, among other things, can cause huge mood swings. Warren said: “It’s well-documented that he’s bipolar and I get p***ed off when people keep talking about how he contradicts himself.“He does that because he’s bipolar. I find it offensive that people keep digging him out over things like that.“I don’t understand it, it feels like a little campaign against Tyson Fury.“He has been one of our best boxers, has gone out and done everything that has been asked of him, overcoming demons that most people would never have got out of.READ MORE SUN STORIES“He was a drug addict and a boozer and all that s*** and he’s then come out of it and gone and won fights,  won the title, gone in people’s  backyards and done it.“Here we are again, he’s fighting a guy who is undefeated. Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk: UK start time, TV channel, live stream, PPV price and undercard for huge Saudi title fight

TYSON FURY faces Oleksandr Usyk in the first undisputed heavyweight title clash since 1999 – and the action will unfold on SATURDAY!Fury suffered a nasty gash above his right eye in sparring earlier this month and saw his clash with Usyk on February 17 go up in smoke as a result.Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk went head-to-head at a press conference late last yearTyson Fury suffered a cut that postponed the Usyk fight from its original date on February 17Credit: X @QueensburyUsyk revealed he missed the birth of his daughter at the beginning of the year to focus on training camp for Fury, but now he has to refocus on a new date. Fury holds the WBC title in boxing’s glamour division, while Usyk is in possession of the WBA, WBO, IBF and Ring Magazine straps. The pair have been on a collision course to fight for 18 months, following Usyk’s rematch win over Anthony Joshua in August 2022. Fury only just overcame boxing debutant and former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou last October, as he was knocked down in stunning fashion before going on to win the bout on points. And Fury’s latest scuffle in sparring with heavyweight Agron Smakici, which saw an 11-stitch cut open up below his eyebrow, will be another confidence booster for Usyk. The Ukrainian is looking become the first man in history to win undisputed titles at both cruiserweight and heavyweight – and he’s just one win away. A victory for Fury, on the other hand, would set up an all-British mega-bout with Anthony Joshua, who takes on Ngannou himself on March 8.Who are their trainers?Fury has once again prepared for the bout with long-time trainer SugarHill Steward. Most read in BoxingThe pair first teamed up for his second fight against Deontay Wilder in 2020 following the Brit’s split from Ben Davison.Steward now lives in Morecambe in order to train Fury in the town instead of having to travel to the USA for his training camps. The former police officer and chef is also the nephew of Hall of Fame trainer Emanuel Steward and previously worked with the likes of Charles Martin at his uncle’s Kronk Gym.Steward recently split from unbeaten British light-heavyweight Ben Whittaker after coaching him since 2022.Meanwhile, Usyk is trained by Anatoly Lomachenko, the father of fellow Ukrainian fighter Vasiliy. He first teamed up with Lomachenko in 2017 after parting ways with former trainer James Ali Bashir.Lomachenko is a former trainer of the year and also coaches his son out of the same gym in Oxnard, California.Vasiliy is the current IBF and IBO world lightweight champion after beating George Kambosos Jr via technical knockout last weekend. What belts are on the line? The first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis will be crowned on Saturday. It will also be the first time a fighter has held all the heavyweight titles in the four-belt era.Fury’s WBC title is on the line, whilst Usyk is defending his IBF, IBO, WBO and WBA (Super) belts. When is Fury vs Usyk?
Fury vs Usyk will now take place on Saturday, May 18 after the original date of February 17 was postponed.
The Gyspy King has three months to recover from his injury, and if there are any more pull-outs this time around, a £7.9million fee will be paid to the opposing fighter.
The fight will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Expect main event ring-walks to get going from around 11pm BST, with the main card likely to start from 6pm BST.
What happened in Fury’s last fight? The Gypsy King last fought in October as he laboured to a controversial split decision victory over Francis Ngannou. He was even knocked down by a left hook from the former UFC champion in the third round.Ngannou had been making his professional boxing debut and has since been knocked out by Joshua in his second bout.Fortunately for Fury, his WBC world title was not on the line.Instead he claimed the WBC Commemorative Riyadh belt as he moved to 34-0-1 with the points win. What happened in Usyk’s last fight?Usyk’s previous fight was also not without controversy, although he won in more convincing fashion. The Cat was leading on the scorecards before securing a ninth round KO victory over Daniel Dubois in Poland last August. His stoppage was the 14th of his professional career to take his record to 21-0.However, Usyk had to survive being floored by a controversial low blow.He was left shaking in agony and stayed down for almost four minutes after being caught just below the belt line by Dubois. When is the weigh-in?
The weigh-in takes place on Friday, May 17.
It is scheduled to get underway from 7pm BST.
SunSport predictionFury and Usyk have established themselves as the two best heavyweights on the planet in recent years.Neither fighter has lost as a professional let alone been finished, with the judges likely to be required this weekend.Fury has shown his durability by taking heavy blows against both Wilder and Ngannou, but it is unclear if these have weakened his chin enough for Usyk to capitalise. The Ukrainian has never been knocked down as a pro but has been far less prolific at finishing fights since moving up to heavyweight. His stoppage of Dubois is his only knockout victory in five fights since leaving the cruiserweight division.SunSport prediction – Usyk on pointsWhat channel is it on and can it be live streamed?
Fury vs Usyk will be broadcast on THREE channels here in the UK.
You can watch the clash on TNT Sports Box Office, Sky Sports Box Office and on DAZN PPV.
A price for the event has yet to be confirmed.
You can stream the action from the TNT Sports Box Office app, Sky Sports Box Office app, or the DAZN app, all of which are available onto your mobile, tablet and Smart TV.
