I HAVE no problem with either Jonathan Moss making “sarky comments” about Bournemouth being at the wrong end of the table or Dan Gosling responding by complaining to the press. The issue is the breakdown in relationships between players and officials over the last few years. Ref Jon Moss is at the centre of controversy […] More
MANCHESTER CITY insisted Jack Grealish enjoyed a ‘civilised night’ with team-mates – despite being turned away from a bar in the city centre.Video footage showed the £100million footballer being refused entry to the Albert’s Schloss venue on Sunday evening.

Riyad Mahrez and Kyle Walker were also on the night out, trying to visit the exclusive Bavarian-style beer house.
Grealish appeared to sway as he was led away by a member of his entourage.
But club sources confirmed the incident was down to an admin error rather than because Grealish was too drunk.
SunSport understands the players usually go through a side door to enter the bar but when that was closed, they tried the main entrance.
But the bouncers had no evidence of their booking and would not let them in.
And City sources added the group then headed to a nearby restaurant for the rest of the evening.

Manchester City’s players were in training for a warm-down session earlier on Sunday after beating Fulham in the FA Cup the day before.
They had Monday off and were back in training today with their next game against Brentford tomorrow night.
The club are therefore happy no curfews were broken.
The video surfaced just two months after Grealish and Phil Foden were dropped by boss Pep Guardiola because the Spaniard was unhappy with the state in which they reported for training after a night out.
It is understood the duo went out following the 7-0 thrashing of Leeds but Grealish did not join in the recovery session.
The 18-cap Three Lions ace is the most expensive player in British football history following his £100m transfer from Villa to City last summer.
But despite the massive price tag, he has struggled to find his best form at the Etihad just yet.
Grealish has just three goals and three assists in 24 appearances this season.

ARSENAL are set to continue their radical squad overhaul when the January transfer window opens.
A surprisingly busy summer saw several stars arrive with comparatively few first-teamers departing.Mesut Ozil’s Arsenal career may finally come to an end next monthCredit: Getty Images – Getty
Next month will see a concerted effort to trim the squad of the high-earning players who have not had a look in under Arteta.
According to The Athletic, sporting director Edu Gaspar is charged with finding new clubs for these unwanted reserves.
Not only have they cost the Gunners financially, some outcasts are reportedly causing dressing room divides over their treatment.
Here, SunSport names seven players who could be moved on in January.Mesut Ozil
Arguably the most talked-about player in the entire Arsenal squad, there wasn’t even space to register Ozil for the Premier League this season.
Out of contract in the summer, January will seal his fate with either a recall to the side or a push towards a sale – with clubs in Turkey and the United States keen.Sead Kolasinac
Kieran Tierney has cemented the left-back spot as his own with Bukayo Saka and Cedric Soares both able to deputise for the Scot if needed.
A return to German football or a switch to West Ham were touted in the summer with Arsenal again likely to be open to offers.Sead Kolasinac has appeared only nine times this seasonCredit: Getty Images – Getty
Shkodran Mustafi
Another out of contract in the summer, Mustafi has been stuck on Europa League duty by Arteta with an ill-fated runout against Leicester the bulk of his domestic action.
Any chance of recouping the £35million fee spent on the centre-back is all-but gone unless Barcelona want to follow through on their reported interest.Shkodran Mustafi could be about to leave Arsenal after almost five years at the clubCredit: Getty Images – Getty
Hector Bellerin
Speaking of Barcelona, the Spanish giants are reportedly eyeing Bellerin for a January move if Joan Laporta wins their club presidential election.
Tariq Lamptey is already named as the Gunners’ preference to replace the Catalan defender, who has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain.The Gunners may be forced into a fight with Barcelona over Hector Bellerin Credit: EPA
Sokratis Papastathopoulos
Like Ozil, Sokratis’ exile from the side this season is said to have caused dressing room rifts at Emirates Stadium.
Napoli reportedly lined up the Greek defender amid talk of a move for Kalidou Koulibaly and he could make a quiet exit after two-and-a-half years in North London.Sokratis Papastathopoulos is yet to appear for Arsenal this seasonCredit: Getty Images – Getty
Calum Chambers
Having fought back from a horror knee injury, the reality for Chambers is that Arsenal’s defence is hugely overstocked.
A whopping seven centre-backs are currently on the club’s books with four players who can play right-back, potentially making him a highly sellable asset if a good bid lands.Leeds were linked with Calum Chambers in the summerCredit: Getty Images – Getty
William Saliba
A loan move for French youngster Saliba is on the cards for very much the same reason that Chambers may go.
Playing time has been non-existent for the £27m defender and, in lieu of a debut and a run in the team, he could head back to Saint-Etienne.William Saliba is still yet to make his competitive debut for the GunnersCredit: Getty Images – Getty

DANA WHITE had Mike Tyson giddy after betting $1million Jake Paul would lose to Ben Askren.
And the YouTuber responded by DOUBLING the wager.Dana White slammed Jake Paul’s boxing credentials and said he would bet $1m on him losing to Ben AskrenCredit: Twitter
Mike Tyson could not contain his excitement at the prospect of the massive wagerCredit: Twitter
Paul, 24, has a perfect 2-0 professional boxing record and takes on retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, 36, in his next fight on April 17.
But appearing on Tyson’s Hotboxin’ podcast, the UFC president vowed to put his money where his mouth is.
White said: “I hope you can bet on this thing because I will bet $1m (£720,000) that he loses this f***ing fight.
“I bet a million dollars that he loses this fight!”And boxing icon Tyson was loving it as he whooped, laughed and clapped at the prospect of White stumping up the cash.
White – who admitted to being a ‘degenerate gambler’ and once lost a $1m boxing bet – added: “Let’s be honest, Jake Paul isn’t a f***ing boxer.
“This guy is a f***ing YouTube kid.
“The kid he’s going to fight is a decorated wrestler who has fought real guys, he’s been a world champion with another organisation.”CASINO SIGN UP OFFER: CLAIM UP TO £800 IN CASINO BONUS CASH
Paul beat AnEsonGib in his pro debut in January 2020 with a first-round TKO and backed that up by knocking out ex-NBA star Nate Robinson in November.
And former boxing champ Zab Judah had The Problem Child’s back after seeing him in training.
Responding to White on the podcast, Judah said: “Dana I watched him, he’s been working hard, Dana. I have seen him put it together.
“He’s got hands. I am not joking.”
The video quickly made its way to Paul and he immediately challenged White to double his money and for both men to put $2m on the line instead. The YouTube star shared a video responding rather dramatically to the original clip on Instagram – throwing a head off a statue and then running out on to the street before calling out White for a fight.
He wrote: “Dana let’s double the bet up! $2 Million. We wire the money into escrow.
“$4 million total. Winner takes all. My team will be in touch to make a contract.
“After I knockout Ben, we can set up Jake Paul vs Dana White 2021 since you consider yourself a ‘Boxer’ and me a ‘YouTuber,” before finishing it off with a clown emoji aimed at the UFC chief.Paul has won both of his professional bouts so far in his career with knockoutsCredit: AP:Associated Press
