Footage has resurfaced online of Mane chatting about the Senegalese star after Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Watford in December.
In the clip, he is seen telling the Watford’s players to “take care” of Sarr.
He said: “Take care of my boy, yeah. He’s shy boy, shy boy.
“He just needs to speak English, he’s working on it. He’s a good boy.”
In response to the viral clip, one fan angrily said: “F*** sake Sadio.”
Another added: “Hope he looks out for Mane now.”
And one Twitter user said: “Hope he looks out for Mane now.”
Just three months later, the 22-year-old has single-handedly crushed Liverpool’s hope of ending the season unbeaten.
