TOTTENHAM fans now have an explanation for their recent flat performances…and it has nothing to do with the injured Harry Kane or Son Heung-min.

Spurs fans reacted the same way when the club beat Bayern Munich to win the pre-season tournament, the Audi Cup, back in July.
However, their last major trophy was the League Cup in 2008, when Dimitar Berbatov and Jonathan Woodgate scored to seal a win over Chelsea.
Yet Jose Mourinho, who has an incredible record of lifting silverware in his first season at a new club, can already boast a Guinness World Record (sort of).
Tottenham announced that kitchen appliances manufacturer Kenwood produced a history-setting 1,135 pancakes at their new stadium.
The Shrove Tuesday spectacle helped the club break the existing record of 110.85 metres with a pancake line measuring 130.86 metres.
And one fan wrote: “Mourinho had to chain NDombele in the dressing room whilst this was taking place”.
Someone else replied: “No need. He would have needed to stop for a rest between there and the dressing room anyway.”
Another harshly said: “I bet luke shaw is throwing in a transfer request atm.”
A fourth added: “Other clubs are winning stuff and we set records for poxy pancakes.”
Tottenham did show their class afterwards by delivering the pancakes to two local causes via The Felix Project, a London-based charity which aims to tackle food waste and hunger.
Speaking after the donation, Tam Carrigan, Senior Play Worker at one of the causes, Haringey Play, told the club’s website: “It’s really special to see the kids tuck into their pancakes and enjoy food together.
“Many of our young people come from disadvantaged backgrounds, which is why donations like this mean so much. They make us all feel truly connected to the local community.”
