IN A dramatic clash at the London Stadium West Ham paid the price for sloppy defending as they drew with Brighton in a relegation six-pointer.
The Hammers raced to a lead on the half hour mark through Issa Diop with Robert Snodgrass providing the assist before the Scot grabbed a goal himself.

But Brighton were handed a way back into the game shortly after the break as Lukasz Fabianski missed a punch from a corner and it rebounded off Angelo Ogbonna for an own goal.
Snodgrass looked to have sealed the win for the hosts after his volley deflected past Mat Ryan on 57 minutes.
But again sloppy and unorganised defending saw the Hammers get themselves into a muddle as Diop attempted to head back a pass to his keeper.
However, the effort was tame and Pascal Gross latched on to the ball and put the ball past Fabianski with 15 minutes left on the clock.
With the Hammers on the ropes, the Seagulls capitalised and veteran forward Glenn Murray was on hand to profit from a cross into the box as he took the ball down and fired home.
Initially the equaliser was checked by VAR after suspensions the striker had handled, but after a tense wait the goal was given with 10 minutes left for either side to win the game.

Brighton almost sealed a dramatic late winner but Fabianski tipped a Solly March free-kick over the bar, as the points were shared in East London.
West Ham boss David Moyes will once again be left gutted, with his side now dropping the most points from a winning position in the league.
Hammers new boy Jarrod Bowen, who signed from Hull, was at the game and will be left thinking his creativity could steer his Londoner’s away from a relegation battle.
