Footie fans vote Harry Kane as having the best haircut in the Premier League – but here’s some of the worst

SPURS striker Harry Kane has the best haircut in the Premier League, according to footie fans.

The injured England captain just edged out Arsenal’s David Luiz to land No1 spot in the poll of 2,000 people for VO5.

The survey of 2,000 footie-mad Brits also saw Kane’s team-mate Hugo Lloris, Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Leicester star Jame Maddison complete the top-five footie hair-o’s.

And although Liverpool might be runaway leaders they came a cropper in the poll with only Roberto Firminho getting the thumbs up from fans. Tottenham had three players, Man United two, while Arsenal, Leicester City, Man City and Aston Villa had one a piece.

Dan Lynes, Head Stylist at VO5, who carried out the poll, said: “People often look to footballers for the latest styles but the one thing we can’t promise is that you’ll suddenly play like them.”

The public have also picked their three worst haircuts.

Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s samurai style cut – unveiled last month, ex-England captain David Beckham’s Mohawk – which Alex Ferguson famously made him shave off before the Charity Shield against Liverpool in 2001 as well as former Nottingham Forest striker Jason Lee who was subjected to chants of “he’s got a pineapple on his head’ came bottom.

After retiring Jason revealed his haircut helped him score explaining: “I thought, ‘you know what, I ain’t cutting this off for you, that would look like I’m giving in. Instead, I’m going to score a goal and ruin your weekend!’.
