ARSENAL can wreck Chelsea and Manchester United’s hopes of signing Edinson Cavani by landing Thomas Lemar, according to reports.
The Gunners are looking into the possibility of signing the France winger this month with Atletico Madrid willing to cash in on their flop.

Atletico splashed out £55million to Monaco to bring the 24-year-old to the Wanda Metropolitano in 2018.
But Lemar has failed to reach the same form that earned him that transfer and now boss Diego Simeone is open to selling him.
And according to El Chringuito TV, it could have a knock-on effect on their Premier League rival’s hopes of bringing in Cavani.
Atletico want to use the funds generated from the sale of Lemar to land the unsettled Uruguayan from Paris Saint-Germain.
Both Chelsea and United have been monitoring Cavani’s availability after telling the French side he wants out this month.
Cavani, 32, is out of contract in the summer and has no plans to extend his current deal.
But the Premier League duo are facing the prospect of being priced out of a move with PSG demanding £16.8m for his signature.
Cavani also wants a two-and-a-half-year contract worth about £360,000 per week.
It is suggested that the striker would prefer a move to LaLiga over a switch to England.
Cavani’s father has spoken of his delight of the prospect of his son moving to Atletico, telling El Chiringuito: ”He wants to join another club in Europe. That would please me that he plays here (at Atletico), yes.
”(Diego) Simeone wants him now. The head coach of Paris Saint-Germain has also said he needs him to help compete in the Champions League.”
