Less than two months before, Edinburgh had been celebrating leading Orient back to the Football League after a two-year exile.

And the O’s have now revealed the West Stand will be officially renamed The Justin Edinburgh Stand.

His wife Kerri and their children, Charlie and Cydnie, will mark it on Saturday ahead of the clash against Newport County – one of Edinburgh’s former clubs.

The stand will bear new signage and also include the logo of the Justin Edinburgh 3 foundation, which has raised over £50,000 since his passing.

Kerri Edinburgh told Orient’s official website: “Over the past months we can’t thank Orient enough for their continued support to us all.

“We’ll be forever grateful for that and know why Justin loved this club and the people involved with it so much.

“One of Justin’s and our family’s most memorable moments of his managerial career was the promotion back to the Football League which was secured on the pitch in front of this stand which will now proudly be named after Justin.”
