Declan Rice explodes with rage in front of Man Utd scout as Solskjaer sends his spy to watch West Ham star vs Sheff Utd

OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER reportedly sent a scout to watch Declan Rice in action on Friday.

But the West Ham star could not keep his cool in the 1-0 defeat at Sheffield United after Robert Snodgrass’ last-gasp equaliser was controversially ruled out by VAR for handball.

Rice was judged to have handled in the build-up to the goal, despite it being a complete accident and having no impact on the run of play.

He exploded with rage as VAR called back Snodgrass’ strike, leaving Hammers fans upset just moments after their wild celebrations.

However, Rice still put in a good performance during the game.

And the Mail claims United scout Simon Wells was able to give Solskjaer a good reading as United’s boss looks to make signings this month.

It’s believed the Norwegian is already preparing to welcome Bruno Fernandes to the club this week.

The Portuguese midfielder is believed to have agreed a deal worth £5m-a-year.

And he has now begged Sporting Lisbon to let him complete a £51m switch to the Theatre of Dreams.

Jack Grealish has also been linked with a big-money move to Man Utd.

However, the Aston Villa star is also a target for Man City.

And Pep Guardiola is ready to muscle in on any move made by the Red Devils for Grealish’s signature.
