How Sergio Aguero has scored all 177 Premier League goals with Man City star an expert with his feet, head and CHEST

SERGIO AGUERO is the greatest overseas goalscorer in Premier League history with 177 – but how did he get there?

The Manchester City ace hit a hat-trick – his 12th in the Prem – against Aston Villa to eclipse Arsenal legend Thierry Henry’s goal tally of 176.

And SunSport has taken a look at how Aguero, 31, has scored with every part of his body.

Argie assassin Aguero has scored 126 times with his favoured right foot – for 71 per cent of the total.

But he did add another 33 on his weaker side and – despite not being renowned for his aerial ability – has 17 headers.

That is some way behind former Liverpool and Tottenham beanpole Peter Crouch, who leads the league with 51 headers – five ahead of 260-goal record Prem scorer Alan Shearer.

Aguero has also been credited with scoring with his chest, although he later admitted it came off his arm.

After netting against Arsenal last February, he said: “I honestly think it was in the chest but now I saw on the TV it was a handball.”

Aguero overtook Shearer’s record of 11 hat-tricks but is still some way short of his total.

However, the has not given up hope of surpassing the Newcastle legend, saying: “I will try. He has too many goals so I don’t know. I will try.

“I am so happy for the record but thank you to my team-mates because they help me. I am so happy.

“I want to keep scoring more goals but it all depends on my team-mates.”

One target within Aguero’s reach is Wayne Rooney’s record 183 goals for one club – which would hand the blue half of Manchester bragging rights.

Roo took 393 games to hit the mark for Manchester United and the Citizens star is just six behind tha, having played 255 matches.
