HARRY KANE is braced to start his recovery from yesterday’s surgery on his ruptured left hamstring.
The Tottenham striker, 26, tweeted a picture of his patched-up leg before watching Spurs’ 1-0 defeat to Liverpool on TV.

He added: “Surgery went very well. First day of recovery starts now!”
The England captain suffered the injury during the 1-0 Premier League defeat at Southampton on New Year’s Day.
Kane, 26, had a chunky-looking brace above and below his knee with black strapping holding it in place.
His leg was propped on a cushion to keep it elevated.
The striker is in a race against time to be fit for the end of Spurs’ season, with April the current target.
But he should be OK for Euro 2020 and will hope to have plenty of game-time under his belt by the time the tournament starts against Croatia on June 14.
Club boss Jose Mourinho has blamed England friendlies for Kane’s hamstring troubles, despite the goal-getter not playing one since before the 2018 World Cup.
The Portuguese said: “If he played too many matches, they were the national team friendlies.”
Mourinho started Lucas Moura on his own up front with Son, Dele Alli and Serge Aurier behind in a bid to counteract Liverpool’s attacking threat in the full-back areas.
But it did not work for Spurs as Roberto Firmino’s strike helped Jurgen Klopp’s side win 1-0 to take a 16-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
