BARCELONA star Luis Suarez will have knee surgery on Sunday and faces months out of action.
The Uruguayan striker was spotted arriving at a hospital in Barcelona where it was decided an operation was the only option.

Suarez, 32, has been plagued by issues with his right knee for months, getting through training and games by having injections.
But now it is hoped a long-term solution can be found.
A statement on the Barcelona club website read: “Suarez will be operated on tomorrow Sunday by Dr Ramon Cugat for an injury to the external meniscus of his right knee.”
The news comes just two days after Suarez played the complete 90 minutes in a 3-2 loss to Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup being held in Saudi Arabia.

Barcelona did not say how long they expect to be without their second-leading scorer after Lionel Messi, with Suarez netting 14 goals this season.
With doubts over Surez’s fitness, another striker has been linked with a move to Barca – and it’s a familiar face.
Neymar could go back to the Nou Camp after leaving for a world record £198million in 2017 – but a deal is not thought to be likely in the current transfer window.
Speaking at a Red Bull sponsorship event, Neymar seemingly confirmed rumours he would leave the French capital this summer in search of “new challenges” after the Copa America in July.
He said: “My goal is to win everything I can with Paris and the Brazilian national team.
“Reach the Champions League final, win the Copa America again, find new challenges.”
