Neymar’s astonishing Instagram earnings emerge with £425,000 for every sponsored post

NEYMAR’S astonishing Instagram earnings show he gets his fix from clicks as much as kicks – with £425,000 per sponsored post.

The Brazil legend almost makes as much online as on the pitch, with PSG reportedly paying the striker nearly £600,000 a week while old club Barcelona hover for his services.

Figures compiled by OLBG suggest the 27-year-old has won the instagram Slam, thanks to his 127MILLION followers.

The £425k figure is based on average earnings of 0.0033p per follower, 0.0032p for each sponsored post, 0.0049p per video and 0.0011p for every Instagram story.

Neymar’s Instagram bonanza dwarfs the £170k earned by main rivals ex-England skipper David Beckham and NBA great LeBron James per story.

LEBRON TO A WINNER

And even Neymar’s son Davi Lucca, eight, could rake it in, based on already having 1.4m followers.

Who says kids should still do paper rounds?!

OLBG’s Instafam estimate anyone with 500,000 followers earns £1,667 for a sponsored post.

Yet Neymar Senior, whose main sponsors include Beats, Red Bull and Nike, is not quite sport’s most popular figure on social media.

Fellow football mega-stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are thought to top the list, helped by 184m and 138m Instagram followers respectively.

LA Lakers hero James has 52.2m, with son LeBron Junior one to watch for the future on 3.4m followers so far.

His dad’s advice will surely be: Look after the pennies and the millions of pounds will look after themselves…

But women in sport have yet to hit the Instagram jackpot.

Serena Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam winner, picks up “only” around £38.4k per sponsored story.
