SAM KERR has praised her Chelsea team-mates for “killing it” in the WSL ahead of her potential debut today.
The hotshot Australian forward, 26, has been training with her new side all week.

And she likes what she sees from the Blues, who are the league’s only unbeaten team this season, sitting four points off leaders Arsenal with a game in hand.
Three-time American Golden Boot winner Kerr joins the WSL as the leading all-time scorer in the United States top flight.
Speaking to Clare Balding and Chelsea TV, Kerr said: “I think for me it was just time for a change.
“I’d been playing in the US for eight years. I loved my time there, it was just time for something new.
“I’ve been watching Chelsea since the start of the season. They’ve been killing it.
“They’ve been doing amazing things. Hopefully I can come in, just slide into it and hopefully help them.”
Blues are also boosted by the arrival of Scottish Women’s Premier League Player of the Year Jamie-Lee Napier.
But Chelsea’s new duo are likely to come up against an “aggressive” Reading side, according to Blues captain Magda Eriksson.
She warned: “It is always tough against Reading. They are aggressive and will keep us on our toes.”

PAULINE BREMER vowed Manchester City will do everything they can to derail Arsenal’s title charge.
Second-placed City trail the Gunners by just three points heading into today’s visit to Tottenham.
And five-goal striker Bremer, back to her best after finally recovering from her 2017 leg-break horror, said: “It’s always a battle against Arsenal.
“We will put everything in place to beat them this season. They have really good players and a strong squad and we lost against them away 1-0.
“It would mean a lot to win the league this year as it’s really competitive and there are a lot of good teams.”
Bremer, 23, has endured a difficult two years after she was crocked on her City debut by an X-rated tackle from Everton’s Gabrielle George.
The German is still finding her feet in this campaign and has played just 258 minutes in City’s ten games.
But she is the team’s leading scorer this term and is eager to make up for lost time as the popularity of the WSL continues to rise.
She added: “There are big attendances this year which is great — more people can see us win it!
“And for me, personally, to win this title would be amazing, so fingers crossed we can do that.
“I think there’s so much more to come and I’m still not at my best now, so hopefully I can continue towards that.”
Bremer knows City cannot afford to take Spurs lightly this afternoon.
She warned: “We can’t underestimate them just because it’s their first year. They’ve adapted well and we will have to be at our best level.”

HOPE POWELL says there is a lot is riding on her side’s “massive” clash with Liverpool.
Both teams will bid to claw themselves out of the drop zone today after turbulent starts to their seasons.
The Reds, who are second bottom, have picked up just three points and are yet to win, while Brighton are one place above them on six.
Seagulls boss Powell said: “All the games are important but the story of the table suggests this is a very big game.
“The fact they picked up a point against Chelsea before Christmas means they’ll be full of confidence.
“If they get a result against us we are on level points with them and if we get the result it pulls us further away from that danger area — there is a lot to play for.
“It is a massive game so it is going to be tough.”
Vicky Jepson’s side will be boosted by the signing of Rachel Furness, 31, who spent three years at Reading and the last few months on loan to Tottenham.
She said: “I’m really excited to have signed for such a massive club. I just want to hit the ground running and bounce into that first game.”

BETH MEAD cannot believe that while she was fan-girling over Little Mix at a concert, young girls in the crowd were fan-girling over HER.
Last year was memorable for the Arsenal striker, 24, who emerged as a breakout star in Phil Neville’s England squad at the World Cup.
She played in front of a record 31,213 fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first WSL North London derby in November.
And will forever cherish the memory of playing in front of over 77,000 spectators in the Lionesses’ disappointing 2-1 defeat to Germany that same month.
The Whitby-born lass has admitted she still pinches herself every time she is stopped by fans.
Before leaders Arsenal take on ninth-placed Birmingham today, she said: “When I go back home there’s a lot of young girls from my area who are really excited to see me.
“When a few of the Arsenal players and I went to a Little Mix concert the other week we saw some young girls had spotted us.
“There was one little girl in particular who was excited to see me so I gave her a hug and had a chat which was a bit surreal.
“I was there to watch Little Mix to be a fan myself and the girls were fans of me, it was special.”
Mead’s fitness will be checked today after suffering a badly bruised leg in the Gunners’ 3-1 win at Everton.
Birmingham bolstered their attack by signing former Sunderland midfielder Emma Kelly, 22.
Blues boss Marta Tejedor said: “She won’t be a starter as we must build up her fitness level.”
