Chelsea have signed 16-year-old Bryan Fiabema following a successful trial
Fiabema has already made his senior debut in Norway with current club Tromso, after playing in the game against FK Haugesund in July.
The forward was joined by fellow Norwegian star Christos Zafeiris on his trial – but as yet it’s unsure whether the latter has been offered a deal.
Fiabema will be closely watched by Frank Lampard, who’s already proven he is more than willing to blood talented youth.
Academy graduates Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori are all key members of Chelsea’s current first XI.
Fellow youngsters Billy Gilmour, Tino Anjorin and Ian Maatsen have also been handed senior debuts this season under new boss Lampard.
Meanwhile, Lampard is also keeping tabs on £127million-rated Jadon Sancho – but faces competition from Manchester United and Liverpool.
With the Blues’ transfer ban lifted six months early, reports claim Lamps is being handed a £100m kitty this winter.
Sancho has been in red-hot form at Borussia Dortmund this season, but is all-but certain to leave – with bosses at the Bundesliga club suggesting he will leave in the summer.
However, Chelsea may be willing to spend big next month in a bid to finally replace Eden Hazard – as well as Willian and Pedro whose time at Stamford Bridge appears to coming to an end.
