When is the Club World Cup?
The Club World Cup got underway on Wednesday, December 11 when Qatari champions Al Sadd defeated Oceania Champions League winners Hienghene Sport 3-1 after extra time.
The quarter-finals took place last Saturday and resulted in Liverpool facing Monterrey.
Should they beat the Mexicans, their final opponents will be Brazil’s Flamengo, who beat Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia 3-1 last night.
