Watch Greenwood reveal Man Utd tactics to millions of TV viewers as sub reads coach’s file on bench in front of cameras

MANCHESTER UNITED forward Mason Greenwood inadvertently shared Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tactics for millions of TV viewers as he prepared to come on against Everton.

The Red Devils boss’ tactics proved to be an instant success as the 18-year-old got Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side back on level terms against the Toffees just 12 minutes after replacing Jesse Lingard.

Greenwood caused a stir on social media after he was seen flicking through a book of Solskjaer’s tactics on the touchline not realising that cameras were zoomed in on the pages.

One user quipped: “Not sure having Mason Greenwood read a file about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s most recent Football Manager save is particularly useful but what do I know.”

Another tweeted: “Greenwood flicking through that book for tactics was so funny.”

A third added: “Someone text Dunc and tell him to get on Sky Go and rewind it about 3 mins! Get a goosey at those tactics Greenwood was showing to the whole world.”

Whatever Greenwood was studying clearly worked as he swept home a glorious effort from outside the box into the bottom right corner.

Commenting on the goal, one fan said: “The guy who was reading tactics from a textbook inside the dugout has just scored a textbook goal. Mason Greenwood.”

Another simply stated: “Greenwood saw that in the tactics book.”

A second added: “The media planned this Ole masterclass, the way they showed Greenwood looking at the tactics folder.”

Greenwood has been in superb form this season, chipping in with seven goals in all competitions.
