The trio were given a lecture on the “philosophy about developing players” by Ajax bosses.

Eredivisie giants Ajax have have had the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Luis Suarez  and most recently Frenkie De Jong and Matthijs de Ligt come through their ranks.

Both the Neville brothers co-own League Two side Salford along with Beckham, Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.

But ex-LA Galaxy superstar Becks has his full attention of developing his Inter Miami side.

SunSport revealed the 44-year-old has been picking up the phone and pleading with players to help him realise his MLS dream.

Becks is in constant contact with Miami sporting director Paul McDonough who has been blown away by the former England skipper’s openness and ability to speak to any club on the planet.

Their first game, at the new home in Fort Lauderdale, will be on March 14th against Beckham’s former team, LA Galaxy.

Miami still have no manager, the stadium is a building site and only a smattering of players are on board.

Radamel Falcao, Luis Suarez, James Rodriguez, Edinson Cavani and David Silva have all been linked with moves to South Florida.

The plan is to stay in Fort Lauderdale, which is around 30 minutes north of Miami and where the training facility will also be, until a stadium in Miami is built but a sea of red-tape and political wrangles means plans have been put on hold.
