KEEPER Ben Foster may land a Premier League lifeline for next season.
Sheffield United are huge fans of the former England cap, who is starring for Watford despite their troubles this season.

And Foster, 36, could be snapped up at the end of the season if the Hornets plunge out of the top flight and have to cut costs.
The veteran stopper has emerged as the leading target for Blades, whose early-season form has already suggested they will be well away from the drop zone.
Boss Chris Wilder has been relying on Dean Henderson, on loan from Manchester United.
But the fear is the fee to take him permanently will be out of reach for them in the summer.
Henderson, 22, has been in recent England squads having come through the Under-21 ranks.
And that has put other top clubs on alert should he decide to leave Old Trafford.
The cost of buying Henderson, and paying the wages he would want, make it a package that could be too big for the Blades.
Foster would be a ready-made alternative, with miles on his clock but still at the peak of his game.
He could also be tempted on a shorter contract.
