KYLE Walker has splashed out almost £1m on an amazing home makeover – and made a new bar the centre piece of his Grand Designs style conversion.
The Manchester City ace spent £3.5m in February on a luxury six-bedroom mansion which backs onto Wayne Rooney’s home in Prestbury, Cheshire.

The property – called “Asana” – boasted a five-a-side pitch and giant fish tank, an indoor swimming pool equipped with a waterfall, a gym and a games room complete with an orange pool table.
Its gaudy interior once featured on a special edition of Come Dine With Me when previous owner Stephen Ireland’s wife Jessica appeared on the programme.
But since moving into the property, Walker, 29, has overseen a huge renovation project which features a new drinking den within the house.
A source said: “Kyle bought the house for cash but since moving in he’s decided that he wants to put his own stamp on it.
“He paid a lot of money for it, so its surprising that he’s spent so much more on having alterations done inside, but I guess he can afford to do it so why not?
“He’s ripped out the stair case and changed the kitchen and introduced a bar which he’s very proud of. It means he can have fun with his pals without any prying eyes. He’s happy at City so is planning on laying down roots for good.”
Earlier this year Walker moved out of the property and into a luxury city centre flat after a reality TV star told his Wag she had a secret affair with the Premier League star.
Walker was given the red card by stunning Annie Kilner after Laura Brown claimed she’d been having sex with him for four months.
The Ex On The Beach star told how she had sex with the Manchester City defender in his supercar – which had a mug in the front with a picture of his children printed on it.
She also forwarded a Selfie the England star sent to her of him in his living room complaining he was “home alone” and inviting her over.
Since then Annie has described herself as a single mum on her Instagram profile even though the pair have been living together.
