FREDDIE LJUNGBERG could put his trust in the youth for his first match in charge of Arsenal on Sunday.
The 42-year-old – who has been named as interim boss following the sacking of Unai Emery – will be looking to guide the Gunners to their first win since October 24.
Freddie Ljungberg could decide to start a youthful team against Norwich on Sunday
And with the club failing to win any of their last seven games in all competitions, the super Swede could decide to put his faith.
Ljungberg has already taken to Twitter to state that he needs to bring the “smiles” back to the faces of fans again.
He said: “However long I oversee @Arsenal for I will give everything I have to put smiles on faces again.
“We have a busy few weeks ahead and the team needs your support. Let’s get to work!”
The two-time Premier League coached the Under-23s last campaign, and could start a number of those players against the Canaries.
Bernd Leno is expected to retain his place between the sticks, but Ljungberg could be in favour of a youthful back line – swapping out Sokratis and David Luiz for Calum Chambers.
YOUNG GUNS
Hector Bellerin could start at right-back if declared fit, while Kieran Tierney has fully established himself as the club’s No1 choice left-back.
Matteo Guendouzi should be an ever-present in the Arsenal midfield, but he could be paired with academy star Robbie Burton who featured heavily under Ljungberg last campaign.
The 19-year-old – who already has three goals in ten games in Premier League 2 this term – impressed in the pre-season tour of the US in the summer.
Mesut Ozil could find himself back in the bench with Joe Willock to potentially start in the No10 position.
The talented youngster – who was a key part of the Under-23s last season – could be set for a prolonged stay in the starting XI.

But perhaps the player that could benefit the most under Ljungberg is winger Bukayo Saka – with the teenager featuring 24 times under the ex-West Ham man – the most of any player.
He could start against Norwich alongside the likes of Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
And Ljungberg may decide to put the likes of Tyreece John-Jules and James Olayinka on the bench.
Ljungberg could start an experienced line-up similar to how Unai Emery started his team
