JOSE MOURINHO hailed a ballboy for helping Spurs into the Champions League last-16.
Tottenham’s new boss high-fived and hugged the beaming youngster after his quick-thinking led to Harry Kane’s first goal.

He swiftly threw the ball to Serge Aurier, whose throw set up Lucas Moura’s cross for Kane to level after Spurs were 2-0 down to Olympiakos.
Aurier smashed Spurs ahead before Kane became the fastest player in Champions League history to reach 20 goals — in just his 24th game in the tournament — as his second sealed a 4-2 victory.
Kane has now scored 23 in 23 matches in all competitions for club and country this season.
Hero Kane said: “It’s great to score goals — but tonight was all about qualifying.
“It was a disappointing start, we didn’t come out with any energy, and they got two goals. It was an uphill battle — but Dele Alli’s goal changed the momentum.”
Mourinho revealed he asked a steward to invite the ballboy into the Spurs dressing room after the game — but he could not be found.
The Portuguese said: “I love intelligent ball boys. He understood the game and made an assist.”

He added: “To do that you have to be a very good ball boy.
“I was, between 10 and 16-years-old, a very good ball boy and he was a very good ball boy.
“He was reading the game and wasn’t looking at the stands.
“I wanted to invite him to the dressing room to celebrate with the players but he had disappeared.”
