EDEN HAZARD is desperate for Kylian Mbappe to join him at Real Madrid and thinks the Frenchman will soon be the best player in the world.
Mbappe’s Paris Saint Germain travel to the Bernabeu in the Champions League tomorrow night but Hazard is hopeful the 20-year-old will be lining up next to him in white soon.
Eden Hazard would love to play with Kylian Mbappe and thinks the Frenchman will be one of the best players in the world soon
Speaking to La Parisien ahead of the European clash, Hazard was asked whether he’d like to bring Mbappe to Los Blancos and he said: “If I could.
“He’ll be the best in the world within the next few years.
“There are many young players that have high potential but, if Kylian continues like this, he’ll be one of the best players in history.
“By 20 years old, I’d already been champion of France with Lille, but in terms of statistics, there’s no comparison between me and Mbappe.
“I was developing bit by bit but Mbappe is already in his peak at 20.”
Despite Hazard’s desire to play alongside the lightning fast forward, recent reports in France suggest talks over a new PSG contract for Mbappe are progressing well.
The French club are reportedly offering a double-your-money £34.5million-a-year contract to keep Mbappe out of Real Madrid’s clutches.
And L’Equipe report that negotiations have started well as the French champions’ president Leonardo has made Mbappe’s future a priority.
