Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz scorecards revealed with Bronze Bomber BEHIND from all three judges before brutal knockout

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder was behind on all three of the judges scorecards before his brutal KO of Luis Ortiz.

The Bronze Bomber survived a huge scare against the Cuban until he added to his own highlight reel by catching Ortiz with a brutal straight right.

It left his opponent flattened on the canvas and secured Wilder 10 successful defences – tying him with Muhammad Ali.

But it could have easily gone the other way had the American not landed his crucial blow.

Ortiz was out-boxing the undefeated 34-year-old, which was backed up by the judges scorecards.

Eric Cheek, Dave Moretti and Steve Weisfeld all had Ortiz dominating the fight as they headed into the seventh round.

Cheek’s score was 58-56 in favour of Ortiz, Moretti 59-55 and Weisfeld also 59-55.

Even the Sky Sports pundits were unable to hand the Alabama giant a single round until they went past the midway point.

Wilder won’t care and instead warned his rivals that he only needs to be perfect for two seconds.

He said: “With Ortiz, you see why everyone has avoided him, I had to play with him and calculate. I had to measure him.

“I had to go back and forward and use different tactics, my IQ in the ring is high but I get no credit for it.

“I bust him up with a left hook and took it on from there. I was very confident in my ability and skill. I had to calculate Ortiz perfectly.

“My opponents have to be perfect for all 12 rounds, I only have to be perfect for two seconds.

“I got my range and got my distance and pulled the trigger.”

Wilder then called out Tyson Fury for a rematch.

He added: “Tyson Fury is definitely next and then I want to unify the division against the winner of Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz Jr.”
