Stamford Bridge wasn’t at full capacity for the game as Enzo Maresca’s troops had effectively killed off the tie with a 3-0 win in the first leg earlier this month.

But the 29,027 Blues fans in attendance were joined by the music legend, 66.

Cameras spotted the ‘Like a Virgin’ star – who has a net worth of £580million – in one of the Bridge’s swanky boxes during the second half.

And the viewers were stunned to see the American icon at the match.

Another chimed in: “Never knew Madonna was a Chelsea fan.”

Madonna – real name Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone – saw the Blues suffer a 2-1 defeat on the night.

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca says it is up to fans to decide whether to back the team

But it mattered little due to the west Londoners’ 3-0 advantage from the first leg, which saw them win the tie 4-2 on aggregate.
