The midfielder poked home after Cristian Romero headed a free-kick back across goal.

But Romero was judged to have pushed his opponent in the back as he won the header, meaning the goal was not allowed to stand.

It took ages for VAR to reach their conclusion, much to the frustration of fans watching on.

Many criticised the officials for the five-minute delay and claimed VAR is ruining football.
