NOTTINGHAM FOREST kept their top-four hopes alive despite a late comeback by Southampton at City Ground.
Elliot Anderson opened the scoring for Forest against a struggling Saints side after just 11 minutes.
Callum Hudson-Odoi doubled the Tricky Trees’ lead on 28 minutes and Chris Wood’s goalscoring exploits continued just four minutes before half-time.
Southampton put together a late comeback with Jan Bednarek and Paul Onuachu but ran out of time to stun the top-four hopefuls.
