Germany forced to abruptly remove player from Nations League squad list after realising he was LATVIAN

GERMANY were forced to fix their Nations League squad list after accidentally including a player from LATVIA.

Helmond Sport loanee Dario Sits was bizarrely named in Julian Nagelsmann’s squad for the upcoming international break.

But the 20-year-old is not German – he’s actually from a land nearly 721 miles away.

Sits’ name was quickly removed after Germany realised their strange faux pas.
