ANTHONY YARDE is back in action this weekend as he returns to the boxing ring for the first time since February.
The 33-year-old light-heavyweight star is looking to challenge for world titles again but needs to build some much-needed momentum.
Yarde’s last big fight was in January 2023, when he was stopped by now undisputed 175lbs champion Artur Beterbiev in a pulsating and competitive fight.
And he also came up shot against Sergey Kovalev in 2019, losing by 11th-round KO.
But now he’ll be looking to get back into the world title picture, with a potential rematch against Beterbiev likely to be on his mind.
Yarde’s opponent is yet to be confirmed, however his return will take place on the Adam Azim vs Ohara Davies undercard this weekend.
