CHELSEA head to Wolves in their first away match of the 2024/25 Premier League season TODAY.

The Blues will be hoping to get their first points on the board after a 2-0 defeat to champions Manchester City on opening weekend.

Chelsea have undergone another summer of huge change, with Enzo Maresca now at the helm and over 40 senior players at his disposal.

There have been 10 incomings at Stamford Bridge, while the likes of Conor Gallagher and soon to be Raheem Sterling the key names departing the London club.

Wolves kicked off the new Premier League campaign with a 2-0 defeat at Arsenal as Gary O’Neill looks to keep the West Midlands outfit in the top flight on a limited budget once again.

Why is Wolves vs Chelsea not on TV?

Chelsea’s Premier League clash away at Wolves will not be broadcast on live TV in the UK.

The match has not been selected for broadcast on Sunday despite the fixture kicking off at 2pm.

It is not being aired on live TV in the UK as the game was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 24 at 3pm BST.

Even though the match is not now taking place at 3pm on a Saturday, it still cannot be broadcast live due to the 3pm blackout.

The Premier League clash was moved to Sunday due to Chelsea’s Europa Conference League play-off tie against Servette on Thursday night.

And due to the Blues playing on Thursday, they cannot be involved in a fixture on Saturday to allow appropriate rest for players.

Bournemouth vs Newcastle at 2pm will kick off Super Sunday live on Sky Sports this weekend, followed by Liverpool’s home clash against Brentford at 4.30pm.
