Gareth Southgate’s men came from behind to beat Holland 2-1 in their Euro 2024 semi-final on Wednesday evening as Aston Villa man Watkins clinched victory with a superb 90th-minute strike.

And England keeper Pickford, 30, lost it when the ball hit the back of the net as he turned to face the Three Lions supporters and join in the jubilant scenes.

Pickford slid on his knees and then spread out on the turf in a moment of ecstasy.

He then got back to his feet before he screamed and punched the air in delight.
