Tommy Fury gives update on Tyson Fury after Gypsy King goes quiet following Oleksandr Usyk defeat


TOMMY FURY has given an update on brother Tyson following defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.

Former Love Island star and 10-0 boxer Tommy was in Saudi to watch Tyson lose a split-decision to Usyk.

And the dethroned Gypsy King has enjoyed time with his family and remained quiet publicly in the aftermath of his first loss.

But Tommy, 25, told iFL TV: “He’s alright, all good, all good.

“Listen, at the end of the day it was a close fight, I did think Tyson did enough to win it.

“I thought the first half of the fight was a shutout and they picked up a couple of rounds after that, so I thought he won the fight.

“But at the end of the day it’s boxing, decisions happen and he’ll be back for the rematch.”

Usyk, 37, became the heavyweight division’s first four-belt undisputed champ while Fury, 35, was beaten for the first time.

But now attention turns to their eagerly-anticipated rematch which is pencilled in for December 21 back in Saudi.

Tommy added: “One hundred per cent he’ll win the rematch.

“There’s not a doubt in my mind that when the rematch happens he’ll right that wrong and get the victory back and move on to the next.”

Tommy meanwhile has not returned to the ring since his controversial win over YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI, 30, in October.
