THE Czech Cup final descended into madness as fans stormed the pitch on the final whistle.
The clash between Viktoria Plzen and Sparta Prague was clouded by the chaos that ensued at the end of the game.
The game, which was played at Plzen’s home ground, saw both sets of fans spill onto the pitch at full time.
What followed was a sad sight for modern football as supporters from both clubs began fighting in the middle of the pitch and players were hurried down the tunnel.
The horrific scenes saw aggressive fans punching one and other while others jumped on top to join in.
Things took another horrible turn when three pitch-side reporters were attacked live on TV.

The three broadcasters were getting on with their show with the ugly scenes continuing behind them when a chair landed at the feet of one of the presenters.
All three seemed initially unfazed by the flying furniture, but quickly saw their moods switch when a second stool slammed into the face of one of them.
Further back on the pitch there was heavy police intervention as armed officers could be seen lining the playing surface to try and keep the peace.
But pockets of fans still continued to fight one and other.

The match itself was just as chaotic with the cup swapping hands in the dying embers of the clash.
Sparta had taken the lead in the 79th minute thanks to an own goal, but saw their one goal advantage snatched away when Plzen levelled the scores in the 87th minute.
That twist looked like it was going to force extra time before Sparta hit back with a 91st minute winner, sealing a league and cup double for The Maroons.
Fans, police and perhaps presenters will be on high alert this weekend as the two sides face each other again on Sunday.
The pair come head to head in the final league game of the season – hopefully not prompting more shocking scenes.
