JOHN FURY has revealed he has a “huge bet” on son Tyson to beat Oleksandr Usyk this weekend that could leave him “skint”.
Fury, 35, will face off against Usyk, 37, for the undisputed heavyweight title in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.
Tyson’s dad, John, sparked chaos at the beginning of fight week on Monday as he headbutted a member of Usyk’s team and was left with a bloodied face.
But for all of the bravado former fighter John is showcasing, he has put his money where his mouth is.
He exclusively told SunSport he has placed a “huge bet” on Tyson that could either make him “rich” or “skint”.
John did not specify the details of the wager, but insisted he believes the bout will be over within nine rounds.

He also claimed “Usyk won’t be able to handle Tyson” and that the Ukrainian will get “worn down” by his son, “start missing his shots” and be stopped.
Fury is the slight favourite to have his hand raised, but there is very little in the odds with UK bookmakers.
Both fighters are yet to taste defeat in a professional ring, while the only fight either of them failed to win came in 2018 when Fury controversially drew with Deontay Wilder.
Fury, who was due to fight Usyk in February before it was postponed due to a cut, was a heavier favourite prior to him being floored by UFC legend Francis Ngannou in October.

Ngannou, 37, came up short in the end on his pro boxing debut as Fury claimed a split-decision win.
But The Gypsy King’s performance led many to doubt whether he can beat Usyk.
And British heavyweight Derek Chisora, who has fought both Fury and Usyk, recently admitted he now has some doubts about the result having previously backed his fellow countryman to bring the belts back to the UK.
Chisora told iFL TV, he said: “I don’t know. I was with Usyk this afternoon because we love the same Russian sauna so we were together.
“It’s a short camp for both fighters. By the time they get into the rhythm and try and get everything right its going to be hard, there’s going to be injuries.

“There’s already signs, they already postponed it. Both men will train hard, so who knows man. It’s hard to call.”
He went on to add: “Tyson has to gee himself up now. His last fight was not a good fight man but he won, he won that fight, simple.
“I said he was going to get knocked down and come back and win the fight. I think that burst some of his bubble.
“Sometimes you can have a bad day but in boxing, you can’t have a bad day and win the fight.”
