DANIEL DUBOIS will fight Filip Hrgovic on June 1 in Saudi Arabia – with a world title shot against Anthony Joshua possibly on the line.
As part of the 5 vs 5 Frank Warren against Eddie Hearn ten-fight showdown in Riyadh, the 26-year-old Greenwich heavyweight will go head-to-head with the dangerous 31-year-old Croatian.
Hrgovic has been mandatory challenger for the IBF title around Oleksandr Usyk’s waist.
And it is believed the sanctioning body will strip their belt from the Undisputed winner decided between the Ukraine ace and Tyson Fury on May 18.
AJ, 35, was a long-running IBF boss and there is a buzzing rumour that he will fight the winner of the Dubois vs Hrgovic bout, for what will be a vacant belt.
But Hrgovic reckons a previous sparring session will guarantee him an easy win – a belief DDD wants to floor.

Dynamite Dan said: “I am very confident, I am ready to prove myself.
“We sparred a while back and he keeps talking about that but people change.
“I am a different animal now.
Hrgovic hit back: “I hope he has changed because otherwise it will only last a few rounds.
“The sparring was not good for him, so I hope he has changed.”
