FANS have slammed Chris Wilder after he refused to answer a question in a TV interview.
Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz’s superb stoppage-time equaliser denied Sheffield United a crucial win on Saturday.
In the third minute out of the 14 in stoppage time, Muniz volleyed the ball to seal a 3-3 draw for Fulham.
And speaking after the six-goal thriller Wilder was asked by the BBC about his thoughts on the added time that saw his side play for another 16 minutes in total and lose their victory.
But the Yorkshire boss refused to answer in fear of the FA or anyone else punishing him.
He said: “I am not going to get involved in any controversy. In terms of my opinion because it has already cost me.

“So I’m not prepared. I am quite a hard-working Yorkshire lad who works hard for his money.
“And I am not prepared to give it to the FA or anybody else, so I’ll keep those thoughts locked in.”
Fans however did not seem to agree with Wilder and found he was making an excuse for his side who became the first English side to concede five goals in four consecutive home games.
One supporter said: “This just shows how detached from reality are these people. ‘Hard working Yorkshire lad’.

“He’s working in the overpaid, molly-coddled footballing industry not down the mines or in the steelworks. This embarrassing.”
While another fan added: “Often find that people who need to talk about how hard working they are are usually the opposite.”
A third then put: “Hard working. Does he work 10hr night shifts?????”
Last month Wilder was slapped with a £11,500 fine by the FA for ranting at a sandwich-eating linesman following Sheffield United’s 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace in January.
The Blades will likely face relegation this season as they sit bottom of the table with just 15 points and seven points adrift from escaping the bottom three with nine games to go.
