ALL eyes will be on the O2 Arena next weekend as Fabio Wardley takes on big rivals Frazer Clarke.
Wardley, the British heavyweight champion, won the belt by knocking out David Adeleye last year.
The Ipswich fan has been on a collision course to fight Clarke for some time, and now they’re finally set to clash.
Clarke, a decorated amateur with an Olympic bronze medal to his name, has yet to pick up a big win in the paid ranks.
But a British title shot against Wardley, who’s had far less fights in his career, is his biggest test yet.
The winner could put themselves into the frame to fight for world titles in the next year to 18 months.
When is Wardley vs Clarke?
- Wardley’s big clash with Clarke will take place on Sunday, March 31.
- The British and Commonwealth titles will be up for grabs.
- The fight will be held at the O2 Arena.
- Expect main event ring-walks to get going a little earlier than usual, around 9.30pm BST.
