Fenerbahce threaten to QUIT league after shocking crowd chaos following clash saw Chelsea flop try to spinning kick fan

Hooligans tried to land punches and one tried to hit a Fenerbahce star with the corner flag.

It led to ex-Chelsea star Michy Batshuayi attempting a karate kick on a fan and Bright Osayi-Samuel landed a powerful right-hook as he fought back.

The chaos came after missiles were thrown by Trabzonspor fans during the game that hit players Edin Dzeko, Dusan Tadic and Dominik Livakovic.

According to reports, Fenerbahce are fuming that no action has yet been taken and they have warned they will quit the Super Lig if Trabzonspor go unpunished.

However, it is not just the weekend’s incident that has angered the club.

Violence has erupted several times over the years and Fenerbahce believe they are not being treated fairly by football chiefs and the government.

They cite the infamous Turkish match-fixing scandal of 2011, which saw their ex-club president Aziz Yildirim jailed.

He was later released and cleared of any wrongdoing.

Fenerbahce also refer to a 2015 incident when bullets were fired at the team bus on their way to the airport.

They additionally think the referees are often against them.

Current club chief Ali Koc said: “The treatment Fenerbahce receives is not something we can tolerate.”

The decision to pull out the league will be discussed at their Annual General Meeting next month.

In the unlikely event they go through with the threat, they would forfeit their remaining matches this season and be relegated.

In turn, this would hand their bitter rivals Galatasaray the league title.

Just two points separate the pair with eight games to go.
