CRISTIANO RONALDO shocked fans with his swollen feet as he shared a picture of himself “recharging” at a £700-a-night Saudi resort.

The Al-Nassr forward, 38, scored his 50th goal since joining the Middle Eastern side on Friday as he dispatched a penalty in a 1-0 win over Al-Ahli.

And, despite more than 20 years in football, he still maintains a strict rehabilitation regime after games.

Ronaldo shared a picture of him lying down with his legs in a contraption made by wellness brand Erakulis.

And he added the short caption: “Recharging.”

But those on social media were more concerned with the Portugal captain’s feet.

They appeared to be bruised and swollen as he laid in front of a swimming pool at the lavish St Regis in Saudi.

Reacting to the image, one fan said: “Look at his feet man, imagine the pain everyday.”

Another added: “22 years of pro footy man look at his feet.. he wakes up with crazy pain everyday for sure.”

A third replied: “This is worse than LeBron [James], wow, I heard he used to wear super tight boots too.”

While a fourth responded: “His big toes are screaming for help.”

Ronaldo has played 35 club games or more in each of the last 21 seasons since he joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon back in 2003.

His total appearances at club level recently exceeded 1,000, while he has also racked up more than 200 caps for Portugal.

Since arriving at Al-Nassr midway through the 2022/23 campaign, he has reached 50 goals in 58 appearances.

But his wait for a first Saudi Pro League title looks set to continue as his side sit second in the table, 12 points adrift of runaway leaders Al-Hilal.

Al-Hilal recently set a new world record for consecutive wins after claiming a 28th successive victory in all competitions.
