WEST HAM striker Michail Antonio has slammed Arsenal fans as “delusional” and admitted they annoy him.
Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League after winning their last eight matches and scoring 33 goals.
While West Ham beat the Gunners 2-1 away in December, Mikel Arteta’s men hit back with an astonishing 6-0 win last month.
And in Europe, the North London side secured their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals after beating Porto 4-2 on penalties.
But Hammers No9 Antonio is not impressed with Arsenal’s fans as he believes they are getting ahead of themselves at the moment.
Speaking on The Footballer’s Football Podcast, Antonio was asked about The Gunners jumping the gun when it comes to winning a title this term.

And Antonio said: “I want to talk about the fans. I’ve had this discussion about Arsenal fans before. I beef a lot of people, it’s one thing you’ll realise.
“Arsenal fans annoy me. Because as soon as they are tip-toeing close to anything, they’re the best team in the world.
“It’s actually unbelievable how delusional these people are!
“Last year when we beat Arsenal at home when they were top of the league my agent called me up and called me a waste man.”

The £7million striker has called out Arsenal supporters before saying he does not want Arteta’s men to win the league.
This will be music to the ears of West Ham fans’ given that Arsenal are their London rivals.
As one said: “Haha he described them well, they are literally the most annoying fan base.”
Another supporter said: “Arsenal fans are so unbearable even tho they’ve hardly won anything ever.”
A third then added: “He’s not even lying their best achievement in 10 yrs is the 2nd they came last year.”
However, an angry Gunners fan hit back to say: “He’s mad we went to their yard and put 6 past them.”
And it seems Arsenal fans will not be quiet anytime soon as they remain firmly in the mix for Premier League success as well as European glory.
