And he got the perfect view as AJ floored his opponent in epic style to secure the second-round win.

The cameras instantly cut to Fury who looked utterly stunned by the brutal finish from his fellow British heavyweight.

AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn leapt out of his seat in excitement when his man delivered the crushing right hand to his Cameroonian opponent.

Frank Warren in the seat next to look perplexed while Paris Fury appeared visibly horrified before she started clapping.

But her husband Tyson sat completely still for a few moments, taking in the heavy shot.

And fans were convinced the WBC heavyweight champ is worried about the prospect of a possible showdown with Joshua after witnessing his raw power.

One said: “I like Fury but he looks terrified here.”

Another wrote: “Tyson Fury is already scared.”

A third added: “He looks worried.”

A fourth typed: “Tyson Fury’s reaction to Anthony Joshua’s knockout of Francis Ngannou. I wonder what could be going through his mind.”

And a final user responded: “Fury’s reaction might be the most pathetic way of trying to show you aren’t scared I’ve ever seen.”

After his initial motionless reaction, Fury did eventually applaud his compatriot for the incredible knockout before again standing seemingly shellshocked.

Joshua’s emphatic win came just four months after the Gypsy King struggled to a controversial split-decision points win over Ngannou.

Joshua, however, made light work of the MMA legend.

He knocked down Ngannou two minutes into the contest, sparking a great enthusiastic reaction from Fury.

Ngannou was back down on the canvas early in the second but stumbled back to his feet.

But AJ, 34, completed the demolition job later in the second round with a savage blow with his big right hand.

And now there is plenty of talk of Fury and Joshua finally meeting in the ring after years of talks.

Fury faces Oleksandr Usyk in May with all the heavyweight world titles on the line.

There is a rematch clause in their contract but then boxing fans will be desperate to see the Battle of Britain.

‘AJ DID FANTASTIC’

Asked about fighting Joshua, Fury said at the Kingdom Arena: “I’m sure Oleksandr Usyk will have something to say something about that.

“I had a s*** performance against Ngannou. AJ did absolutely fantastic and lit him up with a right hand.

“If he fights me after I beat Usyk twice then it will be a different game.”

Fury continued: “I’m still dismissive of him. AJ’s made to measure for me.

“Just because he knocked out Francis Ngannou – it’s not the same.

“He couldn’t land any of those rights on Usyk, a way smaller and lighter man. Styles make fights and his style is made for me.”

Joshua, who took his record to 28-3 on Friday night, will be desperate to get his shot at the big time again after resurrecting his career following the back-to-back Usyk defeats.

The Watford man said: “On the route to the championship, you should always stay focused and I had to step away from the mission

“When I saw the fight with Fury I thought damn this guy can fight, I want a piece of that.

“I am still learning and pushing, I don’t know if I am coming into my peak, if that was me down there you would be saying ‘Anthony Joshua should retire’.

“In five years I will be finished fighting and sitting down and all this will be a distant memory.

“I am going to go back and lock myself in my cage and they can let me out when they want me to fight. I just want to fight.”
