The Bayern Munich star addressed the media following the 3-0 Champions League win over Lazio on Tuesday.
Dier, 30, was all smiles in the interview with TNT Sports after the result saw his side overcome the 1-0 deficit from the first leg.
The club have now confirmed their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals along with Paris Saint-Germain.
However, as Dier hailed the team’s resolute defence and Harry Kane’s prolific form, fans were confused by his accent.
