REAL MADRID’S chief scout has reportedly “fallen in love” with Phil Foden after his latest Manchester City display.
The midfielder ran the show in his side’s derby day victory over Manchester United.
Foden scored twice as City came from behind to secure a 3-1 win at the Etihad Stadium.
According to sensational reports in Spain, Real Madrid’s Juni Calafat has been left enamoured with the 23-year-old.
The Spanish giants’ chief scout believes Foden would make a great addition to their squad, claims Defensa Central.
Their report adds that the England international is seen as an alternative to a “more complicated” deal for Erling Haaland.
