GARY NEVILLE is set for a shocking career change after being named as a DJ at the Kendal Calling music festival.
The Manchester United legend will be performing a set alongside The Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess.
Neville, 48, has embarked on multiple ventures since retiring from playing, including punditry, opening hotels and most recently appearing on Dragons Den.
He will now be trying his hand on the decks as he will be performing at Kendal Calling in August.
Burgess has revealed he can’t wait to perform with Neville.
He said: “I’m very excited about the prospect of DJing with Gary – he’s got great taste in music.

“Can’t promise we’ll be doing any songs together but there might be an impromptu singalong at some point.”
The festival will also feature star names such as Paolo Nutini, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and The Streets.
The dates of the Lake District event have been confirmed for the first weekend of August between the 1st and the 4th.
