NEWCASTLE have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign star midfielder Alfie Harrison for an undisclosed fee.
The Magpies have moved swiftly to sign the 18-year-old English talent, who has shined in City’s youth ranks.
Harrison is expected to undergo a medical in the coming days ahead of completing the upcoming move on a long-term contract.
The youngster has been likened to City’s prolific goalscorer Erling Haaland – for both his looks and impressive goal record.
Harrison has made 10 appearances in all competitions for the club’s U18s and scored eight goals.
Newcastle’s move on the midfielder involved the club’s head of youth recruitment Paul Midgley who envisioned Harrison being a part of Eddie Howe’s first team.
