YOU couldn’t rake it up! Barcelona are selling pieces of Nou Camp grass to fans for hefty sums to boost funds for their £1.3billion stadium refit.
And the Spanish giants believe the going is good on the turf – with prices ranging up to around £360.
The LaLiga champions left their iconic venue with its 99,354 capacity at the end of last season as they stepped up its massive renovation.
Barca are now at the city’s Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys stadium, which holds 54,000.
But they hope to return to the Nou Camp for the start of the 2025-26 campaign.
And Barcelona have pitched in with what some might consider a cheeky idea to help pay the enormous sum needed for all the work.
