HAKIM ZIYECH could see his spell in Turkey come to an end after just a handful of games.
The forgotten Chelsea star was loaned out to Galatasaray in the summer after falling out of favour at Stamford Bridge.
Since arriving in Istanbul things haven’t gone to plan for the 30-year-old with injuries and a lack of form impacting his game time.
Ziyech has featured just just nine times in the league this season and has started only six of those games.
And now Turkish outlet NTV Spor have reported that the former Ajax man may see his time with Galatasaray come to an end in January despite his contract lasting until the end of the season.
They cite his “ineffective” performances as one reason that the Super Lig club could end his loan deal in the winter window.

Ziyech has contributed four goals and two assists in all competitions for the Turkish giants, but it appears as though that may not be enough to keep his place in the squad.
If he was to be sent back to Chelsea it’s unlikely he would be any use to Mauricio Pochettino with The Blues already trying to shift him on a number of times.
On top of that the London outfit already have a bloated squad as they prepare to offload a number of academy graduates in order to re-balance the books this January.
For now Ziyech will have to shift his focus away from club football and on to his national team instead.

The Morocco star has been called up to Walid Regragui’s squad ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations later this month.
Providing he can stay fit it may prove a welcome break for him to show off his abilities for the Atlas Lions the same way he did during the World Cup in Qatar.
