FANS are just realising that there is an optical illusion on the Fulham badge.
The London club’s current crest was introduced in 2001 following promotion to the Premier League.
The badge is a shield shape with a black and white background.
In the central white stripe, there is a red pattern, which fans are only now realising represents the club’s name.
The shape is actually spelling out “FFC”, which stands for Fulham Football Club.
However, some fans had never clocked its true meaning.

Fans on the BucketHatSam podcast the crest was being discussed as one guest admitted to only just realising what the pattern stood for.
The video attracted a lot of attention and viewers flooded the comment section.
One posted: “I was today years old when I figured that out.”
A second commented: “I thought it was some weird rune letter or something.”

Fans also took notice of Fulham back in August as they realised that the roof at Craven Cottage is out of date.
The Cottagers’ old sponsor FXPro was still visible on the stands at either end of the ground.
